Baskin-Robbins Ironwood in Richmond, BC is looking for a highly motivated, experienced Assistant Store Manager and Cake Decorator to join our team in a full-time, permanent position. We are seeking a physically strong, solutions-oriented leader who can bring a positive energy to our crew, handle unexpected operational problems with practical solutions, and exercise their creativity through beautiful custom cake design. The successful candidate must have flexible availability, including evenings and weekends, and possess 1 to 2 years of proven management or supervisory experience in food service or retail alongside practical cake decorating skills.In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of leadership and operational tasks to keep the store running smoothly. Your key responsibilities include:

- Oversee and handle all daily store operations, opening or closing procedures, and cash management in the absence of the Store Manager
- Actively identify operational problems, resolve employee or customer issues promptly, and find effective solutions
- Complete regular inventory stock counts, track product levels, minimize waste, and report ordering needs




- Design, ice, assemble, and decorate custom ice cream cakes according to customer orders while keeping the display showcase fully stocked
- Train, guide, and motivate team members to work cohesively and maintain a high-energy pace during busy shifts
- Maintain a guest-first culture by ensuring fast, friendly, and high-quality customer service while meeting strict cleanliness and food safety standards
- Demonstrate the physical stamina required to stand for long hours and lift or scoop heavy ice cream tubs
