May 2027 Lawyer

Job Requirements:

- Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario;
- 5 years experience considered and asset but not required;
- Excellent written and verbal communication;
- Ability to prioritize a variety of tasks and requests;
- Familiarity with computers and the ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Teraview, and other Law related programs;
- Polite, friendly and professional;
- Willing to learn and adapt;

:

- Working in the areas of agricultural law, wills and estate law, corporate law and real estate law;
- Corresponding with other lawyers and law clerks;
- Assisting our lawyers with on-going files; Working with our clerks with on-going files;
- Drafting various corporate documents and updating minute books;
- Managing and closing real estate transactions; Including preparation,



approval and registration of transfers, mortgages and other real estate documents;
- Drafting agreements of purchase and sale for real estate and share transactions;
- Handling Small Claims Court files and/or Landlord and Tenant Board files;
- Estate administration;
- Preparing wills and powers of attorney;
- Meeting with clients;
