We are hiring an experienced Auto Body Painter to join our collision repair team in Richmond hill. The ideal candidate takes pride in producing clean, consistent finishes and can work efficiently in a busy shop environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicles and parts by sanding, masking, priming, and cleaning surfaces.
- Mix and match paint colours according to manufacturer specifications.
- Apply primers, base coats, and transparent coats using professional spray equipment.
- Inspect finished work and correct imperfections when required.
- Maintain spray booths, tools, and equipment in clean working condition.
- Follow workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Work closely with body technicians and estimators to meet repair deadlines.
Qualifications
- Previous automotive painting or refinishing experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of paint preparation, colour matching, blending, and finishing.
- Ability to use spray guns, mixing systems, and related refinishing equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's licence is preferred.
