Responsibilities

- Assist experienced mechanics with diagnosing and repairing a variety of vehicle issues using schematics and technical manuals.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively to assemble, disassemble, or repair automotive components.
- Support the inspection process by identifying mechanical problems and documenting findings accurately.
- Participate in vehicle repairs involving heavy lifting and mechanical assembly to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Follow dealership procedures for vehicle safety checks,



maintenance schedules, and repair documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

- Previous dealership experience or familiarity with automotive repair processes is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and welding techniques.
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting purposes.
- Comfortable performing heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with vehicle maintenance.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repairs and maintenance needs.
- Basic understanding of automotive systems including engines, brakes, suspension, and electrical components.
