Duties

- Assess vehicle damage thoroughly to determine the scope of repairs needed
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques to perform body repairs, panel replacements, and refinishing tasks
- Remove damaged parts and prepare surfaces for painting or refinishing processes
- Conduct mechanical inspections to identify underlying issues that may affect body repairs
- Collaborate with team members to ensure repairs meet safety standards and quality expectations
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace,

- Document repair procedures accurately and communicate progress effectively with supervisors and customers

Experience

- Previous dealership or automotive repair shop experience highly preferred
- Strong knowledge with a solid understanding of vehicle structures and systems
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other automotive repair equipment
- Experience with heavy lifting safely handling vehicle parts or components
- Experience or background in automotive repair is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Willingness to learn current techniques and stay updated on industry best practices
