Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Automation Developer with extensive experience in test automation, quality assurance, and software testing practices. The successful candidate will support testing initiatives across enterprise applications, helping ensure quality, performance, accessibility, and reliability through modern automation tools and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify opportunities for automation within software processes.
- Design and execute QA tests using scripts that automatically validate functionality.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts.
- Utilize and enhance automated testing frameworks.
- Investigate software issues identified through testing activities.
- Collaborate with QA analysts, business stakeholders, and development teams to resolve defects and improve quality.
- Provide recommendations regarding testing strategies, test plans, testing tools, and resource requirements.
- Plan and organize testing efforts for large-scale and complex systems, including:

- Functional testing
- Non-functional testing

- Systems integration testing

- User acceptance testing (UAT)

- Stress and performance testing

- Support cloud-based development environments and Agile/DevOps delivery practices.
- Participate in accessibility testing and remediation initiatives.

Required Qualifications

- Experience identifying automation opportunities within business and software processes.
- Experience designing and executing automated QA testing solutions.
- Experience testing databases, systems, networks, applications, hardware, and software.
- Experience identifying, documenting, and managing defects and quality issues.
- Experience installing applications and databases relevant to automation initiatives.
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders to improve workflows through automation.




- Experience gathering and documenting requirements to support automation solutions.
- Ability to manage competing priorities while meeting project deadlines.
- Experience planning, organizing, and implementing testing efforts.
- Experience executing functional, non-functional, and integration testing.
- Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing activities.
- Experience with quality assurance practices including accessibility, integration, performance, and load testing.
- Knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks.

- Experience with

- Microsoft Azure Cloud

- Experience with test management platforms such as:

- Azure DevOps

- Micro Focus ALM

- Experience conducting accessibility compliance audits and remediation activities using accessibility testing tools.
- Experience creating, reviewing, and executing:

- Test strategies

- Test plans

- Test cases

- Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.

Desirable Qualifications

- Experience with at least one programming language.
- Experience using information retrieval tools and packages.
- Knowledge of Information Management principles and best practices.




- Understanding of accessibility standards and compliance requirements.
- Experience planning and organizing testing efforts for both small and large systems.
- Experience developing reusable automated test cases.
- Experience testing Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications.
