Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and motivated 2nd-year or higher Automotive Mechanic to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience, strong diagnostic skills, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship. You’ll be working on a variety of makes and models, performing everything from routine maintenance to complex repairs. Must provide own tools, some shop tools are provided for you.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform diagnostics, inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of passenger vehicles and light trucks
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to engines, drivetrains, brakes, suspension, electrical systems, and HVAC
- Conduct computerized diagnostics and interpret scan tool results accurately
- Follow manufacturer and company repair procedures and safety guidelines
- Assist junior apprentices when needed and contribute to a collaborative team environment
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed using repair orders or digital systems, experience with Shop Monkey is an asset but not required.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and tools

Required Qualifications:





- Completion of 2nd year or higher in a recognized Automotive Service Technician apprenticeship program
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record with less then 6 demerits in past 5 years
- Solid understanding of automotive systems and repair procedures
- Experience using diagnostic tools and shop equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and repair instructions, experience with Mitchell's On Demand, Shop Key.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy parts and work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to continue learning and growing within the trade
- Must live in or near Spruce Grove AB, Edmonton and surrounding areas

Preferred Qualifications:

- Red Seal Certification (or in progress)
- 5+ Years as Red Seal Technician
- Strong Electrical Skills
- European or Domestic factory trained course completion
