Job Summary

We're looking for a friendly and energetic A&W; Cashier & Kitchen team member to join our fast-paced restaurant crew. In this role, you'll be the face of our brand, providing excellent customer service at the front counter while also assisting in food preparation and kitchen operations behind the scenes. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a lively environment, loves food, and wants to be part of a team that values quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems like Micros POS.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring correct change and receipt issuance.
- Assist in food preparation by following food safety standards and sanitation guidelines.
- Support kitchen operations by preparing ingredients, assembling menu items, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain a clean and organized work workplace in both the front counter and kitchen areas.
- Follow all food handling, safety regulations,



and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe dining experience for guests.

Requirements

- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is key!
- Strong cash handling skills with experience using POS systems such as Micros POS.
- Good time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Knowledge of basic math for accurate cash transactions and order calculations.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining friendly customer interactions.
- Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- A team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and serve guests with a smile.
