Responsibilities

- Safely operate commercial trucks equipped for freight transportation, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load, secure, and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed, ensuring cargo integrity throughout transit.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns.
- Manage documentation related to shipments, including delivery manifests, bills of lading, and inspection reports.




- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to minimize downtime and maintain vehicle reliability.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck interior and exterior, ensuring compliance with safety standards at all times.

Experience

- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid AZ license or equivalent certification.
- Demonstrated ability to operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with freight handling procedures, including securing loads and managing cargo documentation.
- Basic knowledge of automotive repair techniques to address minor vehicle issues independently.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and freight transportation.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and clients.
