As a server at Pie Guys Pizzeria & Bar, you will be the face of our restaurant, responsible for delivering outstanding service to every guest. You will take orders, serve food and drinks, answer questions about our menu, and ensure each guest leaves with a smile. Whether you’re recommending the perfect pizza pairing or pouring a cold beer, your genuine attitude and attention to detail will make every visit special.

Key Responsibilities

· Greet guests promptly and warmly, creating a welcoming and energetic atmosphere





· Provide guests with menus and offer detailed knowledge of menu items, including daily specials and drink selections

· Take accurate food and beverage orders, entering them efficiently into the POS system

· Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner, ensuring presentation is up to Pie Guys’ standards

· Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly or escalate as needed

· Explicit tables, restock service areas, and maintain cleanliness throughout your shift

· Handle payments with accuracy, process transactions, and return change or receipts to guests

· Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth flow of service

· Assist in setting up and tearing down for events, promotions, or busy nights

· Promote ongoing specials, loyalty programs, and upcoming events

Qualifications

· Previous serving or customer service experience preferred but not required—enthusiastic beginners are welcome!

· Smart Serve certification

· Strong communication skills and a positive, friendly attitude

· Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

· Excellent teamwork skills and a willingness to pitch in wherever needed

· Attention to detail and commitment to delivering the best guest experience

· Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

· Must be legal age to serve alcohol in Ontario

· Reliable transportation to and from 10 MacTurnbull Drive, St. Catharines
