Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team to in a vibrant café environment. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to food safety and hygiene.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes and standards.

- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and taking their orders accurately.

- Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for processing transactions efficiently.

- Handle cash and credit card transactions with precision, ensuring accurate cash handling practices.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and dining areas.

- Assist with food preparation and serving of light snacks or pastries as needed.





- Adhere to food safety guidelines and ensure compliance with health regulations.

- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.

Experience

- Previous barista experience is a must.

- Background in the food industry is advantageous, with familiarity in food handling and safety practices.

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.

- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.

Pay: $15.00-$19.00 per hour
