Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with care and consistency
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions, including cash handling and basic math calculations, with integrity and accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the serving area, food prep stations, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide outstanding customer service
- Manage food handling responsibilities, including food preparation and serving to ensure quality and safety standards are met




- Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks such as serving customers, taking orders, and restocking supplies

Experience

- Previous barista experience or food service experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures is advantageous
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
