Responsibilities

- Prepare high-quality coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to company standards, ensuring consistency and presentation.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Handle cash register operations including cash handling, making change, and balancing registers at shift end.
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and provide friendly, attentive service to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including food handling and food safety practices.




- Assist with basic food preparation tasks and ensure adherence to food safety regulations.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards.

Skills

- Proven experience as a barista or in food service roles with strong customer service skills.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
- Knowledge of the food industry standards related to food handling and safety.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours.
- Strong math skills for cash handling, giving accurate change, and managing register totals.
- Ability to serve quickly while maintaining attention to detail in beverage preparation and food safety protocols.
- Effective communication skills to engage with customers and team members positively.
