Duties & Responsibilities – Barista

- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages
- Greet customers and provide friendly customer service
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate cash register and POS system
- Handle cash, debit, and credit transactions
- Maintain the cleanliness of café, counters, and equipment

Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks using standard recipes and equipment.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate cashiering and cash handling.
- Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling food items, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to food safety standards.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests,



taking orders, and addressing inquiries professionally.
- Manage cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and dining space in compliance with health regulations.
- Restock supplies as needed and assist in inventory management.
- Follow food safety procedures during food handling and preparation to ensure quality standards are met.

Experience

- Previous experience in the coffee shop or as a barista familiar with coffee Machine.
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous.
- Proven ability in serving customers efficiently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
- Knowledge of basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and measuring ingredients accurately.
- Experience in food service, including food preparation and food safety practices, is desirable. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about coffee culture and delivering excellent customer experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part time Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
