Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties responsibly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and seating areas
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide excellent customer service
- Follow food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high standards of service

Requirements

- Previous barista or food service experience is preferred but not required; a passion for customer service is essential
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash register technology
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and processing transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk throughout the shift, and perform physical tasks involved in food preparation and serving
