About This Role

Bring the history, expertise and passion of St-Albert Cheese Co-op to life St-Albert Cheese Co-op is looking for a warm, energetic individual who takes pride in our region to welcome visitors and deliver guided tours in French and English. You will introduce guests to our cooperative history, cheese-making expertise, products and community contribution while creating a memorable, educational and authentic experience.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys communicating, storytelling, sharing knowledge and engaging with diverse groups. Part-time hours are offered based on tour bookings and special-event needs.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

- Warmly welcome families, tourists, school groups,



community organizations and corporate visitors.
- Deliver engaging and accessible guided tours in French or English.
- Present the history of St-Albert Cheese Co-op, its cooperative identity and the main elements of the approved visitor route.
- Adapt your approach to the group’s age, interests and needs.
- Answer questions accurately and direct visitors to relevant products and services.
- Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation and authorized-access requirements.
- Prepare required materials, review bookings and share useful feedback to improve the visitor experience.
- Represent St-Albert Cheese Co-op with professionalism, simplicity, pride and authenticity.

What You Have

WHAT YOU BRING:

- Excellent spoken communication skills in French and English.
- Confidence speaking to groups of different sizes and ages.
- Warm interpersonal skills, courtesy, reliability, punctuality and a strong customer-service mindset.
- Ability to learn and clearly present approved information.
- Autonomy, sound judgment and the ability to remain calm when plans change.
- Experience in facilitation, teaching, tourism, visitor reception or customer service is an asset.
- Knowledge of the region, the cooperative model or the agri-food sector is an asset.
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a tour.
