Brokel Stainless Ltd. has been a trusted stainless-steel fabricator in Western Canada for over 40 years. We are currently seeking an experienced Brake Press Operator to join our manufacturing team in Edmonton.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Set up and operate CNC brake press equipment
- Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and measurements
- Form stainless steel and other sheet metal components accurately to specifications
- Select appropriate tooling and make machine adjustments as required
- Perform quality checks to ensure dimensions, angles, and finishes meet requirements
- Handle and organize raw materials and completed parts
- Work closely with welders, fabricators, drafting, and production staff
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Perform basic equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns
- Assist with other shop duties as required

The Successful Candidate Will Have
- Previous experience operating a brake press, preferably in a custom fabrication environment
- Experience working with stainless steel and sheet metal
- Ability to read fabrication drawings and use measuring tools accurately




- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Good understanding of brake press tooling, bends, and forming techniques
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team setting
- Strong attendance and reliability
- Safety-conscious approach to all work
- Forklift and overhead crane experience are considered assets

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
