General Cleaner / Cleaning Technician

We are a car dealership looking for a reliable, hardworking Cleaner / Cleaning Technician to join our growing team. We take pride in preparing and maintaining some of the best-looking vehicles for our customers. We are looking for someone who shares that same pride and wants to take the time to perfect the details and deliver a high-quality finished result.

This is a hands-on position for someone who is detail-oriented, takes pride in their work, and understands that proper cleaning is about more than simply getting the job done — it is about making the vehicle look its best.

Spanish-speaking candidates are preferred, although Spanish is not required.

This position is currently offered on a contract/job-basis, with work assigned based on available vehicles, contracts, and workload. There may be opportunities for additional hours and ongoing work as more jobs become available.

What We Provide

We provide everything you need to do the job properly, including professional cleaning equipment, cleaning chemicals, products, towels, and other necessary supplies. You are not expected to provide your own skilled cleaning equipment or chemicals.

Responsibilities

- Perform detailed cleaning of vehicle interiors, exteriors, surfaces, floors, and other areas as required.
- Vacuum, wipe, scrub, sanitize, steam clean, and remove dirt, stains, dust, debris, and other contaminants.
- Use professional cleaning equipment such as vacuums, steam cleaners, sprayers, and other detailing tools.
- Take pride in the finished appearance of every vehicle and pay close attention to small details.
- Work carefully to ensure vehicles are cleaned thoroughly and presented to a high standard.
- Identify areas requiring additional cleaning and take the time to perfect the final result.
- Complete final quality checks before considering a vehicle finished.
- Maintain and properly organize cleaning supplies,



equipment, towels, and work areas.
- Work efficiently as part of a two-person cleaning team when required.
- Follow proper procedures for the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Requirements
- Previous professional cleaning, car detailing, or automotive cleaning experience is an asset but is not required. Training can be provided.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work.
- Able to recognize when a vehicle needs additional work rather than simply considering the job complete.
- Able to work at a steady pace while maintaining a high standard of quality.
- Comfortable performing physical work, including standing, bending, reaching, and working with cleaning equipment for extended periods.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation is an asset.

Schedule Typical working hours are 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

This is currently a part-time contract/job-basis position, with hours and workdays depending on available vehicles, contracts, and workload.

Weekend availability is preferred.

Additional hours or shifts may become available as the workload increases.

Compensation

Competitive hourly compensation based on experience and ability.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who takes pride in doing things properly. The ideal candidate understands that cleaning and detailing a vehicle is a hands-on job where the small details matter.

You should be someone who looks at a vehicle after cleaning it and asks, "Can I make this look even better?"

Experience is helpful, but attitude, reliability, work ethic, attention to detail, and pride in your work are the most important qualities for this position. We provide the equipment, chemicals, products, and training needed — we are looking for someone who will put in the effort to use them properly and help us maintain the high standard we expect for every vehicle.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
