Job Overview

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking Store Associate to join our team at a busy food wholesale store. This position involves a variety of daily tasks, including cashier operations, customer service, stocking shelves, and keeping the store clean and organized.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a quick-paced retail environment, enjoys helping customers, and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs, ensuring a friendly and professional experience at all times to maintain a safe and welcoming shopping environment
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for cash, credit, and mobile payments, and handling cash responsibilities with integrity
- Conduct product demos when applicable, highlighting features and benefits to encourage sales and upselling opportunities
- Manage merchandising displays to ensure products are well-organized, attractive, and fully stocked according to store standards
- Provide detailed product information, answer customer inquiries, and offer technical sales support when needed
- Maintain organized checkout areas, process transactions swiftly, and handle returns or exchanges efficiently
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills by engaging customers via phone or in person,



ensuring clarity and professionalism in all interactions
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required
- Perform other general store duties as assigned

Experience

- Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly advantageous for serving our diverse customer base
- Basic math skills are essential for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Experience with POS systems or familiarity with retail technology is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and time management are necessary to balance multiple responsibilities effectively
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are vital for delivering top-tier customer service
- Previous experience in merchandising, upselling, or technical sales related to technology products will be considered an asset
