Job Summary

Juicy Birds Brampton is seeking a dedicated and energetic Cashier / Line Cook to join our dynamic team. This role combines customer service with food preparation, ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a rapid-paced environment. Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to company standards, maintaining quality and presentation
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Greet customers warmly, take orders efficiently, and upsell menu items to enhance sales
- Handle cash transactions accurately and provide correct change
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service




- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food preparation, cashiering, or food service preferred; restaurant or food industry experience is a plus
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Kitchen experience or food handling certification is desirable but not mandatory
