Duties

- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and organize dental supplies to ensure readiness for patient appointments
- Assist dentists during basic dental procedures
- Manage patient records efficiently using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout visits
- Support the front desk team by handling dental receptionist duties such as scheduling appointments and verifying insurance information




- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards to protect patients and staff at all times

Qualifications

- Current certification as a Dental Assistant with valid licensure or registration in accordance with state regulations
- Familiarity with dental software platforms such as tracker for record management
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental procedures and patient care
- Ability to operate digital radiography equipment (CAD) confidently and safely
- Robust communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including pediatrics
- Prior experience working as a dental receptionist is a plus but not required; training will be provided for administrative duties
