We’re looking for aCertified Electricianto join ourinnovative lumber milllocated nearVernon, British Columbia.OurLavington Divisionis where Tolko’s story began over 60 years ago. Today, at Lavington, we safely and sustainably produce 238 million board feet of lumber per year forcustomers around the worldso they can build their homes and their communities.

Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

- Experience working as anElectricianwith a validInterprovincial ticket.
- Strongtroubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Demonstrated knowledge ofProgrammable Logic Controllers (PLCs)andHuman Machine Interface (HMI) systems.
- Experience withComputerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) - preferably JD Edwards.
- Strongcommunicationskills.
- Ability towork independentlyand with a team.
- Experience withMicrosoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Previous experience in a forest products setting is considered an asset.

- Troubleshoot electrical issues and come up with safe, reliable fixes.
- Complete preventative maintenance as well as installations and upgrades, working on a variety of motors, hydraulic motion controls, optimizers and encoders.




- Look for opportunities to continuously improve equipment reliability to come up with solutions that keep our industrial electrical equipment and controls repaired and maintained.
- Carry out maintenance projects and programs.
