About the Role

Our client, a reputable chemical producer in Kimberley , is seeking a detail-oriented Chemical Engineer to join their Quality Assurance team. This role is critical in ensuring that all manufactured products meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements. You will be involved in developing and implementing quality control procedures, analyzing product data, and investigating quality deviations. The ideal candidate possesses a solid understanding of chemical processes and a commitment to maintaining the highest levels of product integrity, contributing to the company's reputation for excellence in the Northern Cape .

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance systems and procedures for chemical manufacturing processes.
- Monitor production processes and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory standards.
- Analyze quality data, identify trends, and investigate product deviations or non-conformances.
- Collaborate with production, R&D;, and regulatory affairs teams to resolve quality issues.




- Conduct internal audits and support external regulatory inspections.
- Manage product release processes and maintain all relevant quality documentation.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
- 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within the chemical or pharmaceutical industry.
- Thorough understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Experience with analytical testing methods and statistical process control (SPC).
- Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.li>
