Become an integral part of NEOFACS as an In-House Legal Counsel in a full time contract position. Focus on legal advice and representation for child protection initiatives across various communities. This role calls for a lawyer licensed in Ontario, ideally with two years of experience dealing with child welfare law or family law proceedings.

- Provide strategic legal counsel to child protection staff
- Represent NEOFACS in court at all levels
- Apply Child, Youth and Family Services Act expertise
- Engage in effective negotiation and conflict resolution
- Travel to serve various NEOFACS catchment areas Requirements:
- LL.B. or J.D. degree with Law Society membership
- Relevant experience in child protection law
- Knowledge of PHIPA and related regulations
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- G Class driver's license required, vehicle access preferred Support child well-being through legal advocacy and representation at NEOFACS.
