About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Designer to join their growing team in Kimberley . This role is crucial in supporting the engineering team by producing accurate and efficient design documentation for a variety of civil infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for creating drawings, plans, and schematics using CAD software, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings, plans, and sections using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).

- Assist in the design of site layouts, grading, drainage systems, and utility infrastructure.

- Ensure all drawings and documentation are accurate, complete, and meet project specifications and design standards .

- Coordinate with civil engineers and project managers to incorporate design changes and feedback.





- Perform quantity take-offs and assist in the preparation of project documentation.

- Maintain organized drawing files and revisions for effective project management.

Requirements

- National Diploma or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or Draughting.

- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Civil Designer or Draughtsperson.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with Civil 3D is essential.

- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles related to site development and infrastructure.

- Attention to detail and accuracy in producing technical drawings.

- Good communication and teamwork skills.
