Claims

Adjuster – Home II field and/or telephone team. As a Claims Adjuster, Field and/or Telephone, you’ll play a key role in our core mission: helping people. You’ll be part of an enthusiastic and diverse team of claims adjusters dedicated to supporting our customers get their lives back on track after unexpected events. Your empathy and exceptional skills will make you a valuable asset to our team.

We offer challenging and rewarding opportunities to investigate and manage complex personal and commercial property claims. Evaluate and analyze information gathered, insurance wording and damages to determine coverage in each situation.

Assess potential civil liability of the insured and third parties in consultation with specialists.

Negotiate settlements with customers, claimants, lawyers and insurers within your authority limits.

Handle field assignments on behalf of in-house claims adjusters.

As needed,



actively support claims management and other work during high-volume periods.

Collaborate effectively with various teams including appraisal, underwriting and legal services.

Stay informed about current trends in insurance products and appraisal and investigation techniques and services. At least one year of experience as a home claims adjuster (telephone or field), with expertise in water and/or fire losses.

A passion for customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Solid technical aptitude and excellent computer skills.

Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Availability for travel on short notice.

Solid understanding of insurance products.

Bilingualism (English/French): Requires answering calls and providing service to an English-speaking clientele on a regular basis. Available territories for field claims adjusters include: Home Claims Adjuster – Field – Claims Department – Loss – Adjusters – AMF
