ROLE SUMMARY AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Freight Deliveries: Pick-up scheduled loads from Coke Calgary, or other suppliers as required and as scheduled by the Company, and return to the Company warehouse for unloading.
- Truck Jockeying: Moving trucks within the Company yard or to/from service providers as needed.
- Safe Driving: Safe driving is always required – especially during loading and unloading. Drive according to the rules and regulations set out by Government Standards and the Company expectations where applicable. Non-compliance with driving regulations or safety guidelines could result in progressive discipline, including termination.
- Delivery On time: Adhere to a strict schedule as arranged for pick-up and scheduled dock times. If you are unable to make a scheduled arrival/delivery, proactively communicate with the Warehouse Supervisor or Management as soon as it is secure to do so.
- Regulations and Paperwork: Ensure all required paperwork is completed and accurate.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct vehicle inspection for mechanical, safety and preventative maintenance and report to the Warehouse Supervisor to prevent downtime. Ensure the Company vehicle is clean and well kept. Work with the Warehouse Manager to coordinate and approve maintenance as required.
- Partner Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with our partners, this means working cooperatively with Coca-Cola counterparts or third-party vendors as well as customers.
- Safety First: Work with Management to ensure all safety requirements determined by Alberta Health, WCB and/or the Company are upheld. It is important to note that disregard for mandated safety requirements will result in termination of your employment. Please note – any accidents or driving violations on or off hours must be reported to Management in accordance with our Safety Program.
- Teamwork: Support and contribute to a fun,



respectful work environment by being an exceptional teammate. Collaborate with other team members, such as sales representatives, delivery, M.A.C Leasing and Vending, front office; everyone!
- Vehicles and Property: Maintain company vehicles, equipment or other property.

IMPORTANT DETAILS

- Regular freight hours while completing delivery routes afterwards are 3:00 AM – 9:00 AM; hours may vary based on demand and dock time availabilities. Some days may require multiple trips.
- Home every night - this route is only Red Deer - Calgary
- Must be able to work independently
- Trip Rate: $165 / trip
- 4 month contract with possibility of extension
- Must have a valid Class 1 Drivers License and provide a current Drivers Abstract
