Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at Homestead Co-op under Apple Cleaning Services. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, secure, and welcoming environment across our facilities. Your efforts will ensure that our spaces are hygienic, well-organized, and compliant with safety standards, contributing to a positive experience for staff and visitors alike.

Duties

- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing all areas of the facility
- Conduct thorough commercial cleaning of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to uphold hygiene standards
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, furniture, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
- Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or safety hazards promptly to management
- Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored for efficient operations
- Follow health and safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or contamination




- Support special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as scheduled or requested

Requirements

- Proven experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance preferred but not required; training provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and safety procedures
- Ability to operate basic cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and floor scrubbers safely
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled hours
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- Has transportation
- Has clear Police Record
