Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaner / Shop Helper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within our facilities, supporting shop operations, and assisting with general maintenance tasks. Your proactive approach will help ensure a safe, efficient, and welcoming workplace for all team members.

Responsibilities

- Perform thorough cleaning of shop floors, work areas, offices, restrooms, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Assist with commercial cleaning tasks to uphold hygiene standards across the facility
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs needed or minor issues that require attention
- Help with loading and unloading supplies or equipment as needed to support daily operations
- Maintain cleanliness of tools, equipment,



and storage areas to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning and maintenance activities to prevent accidents
- Support team members with additional shop helper duties to ensure smooth workflow

Requirements

- Prior experience in cleaning or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Basic understanding of facilities maintenance and safety procedures
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward cleanliness and safety
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Reliable with a positive work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
