Job Overview

Working in a team environment, position offers AM cleaning shifts, 3 to 5 days a week. 8:30AM to 5:00PM. Closed each weekend and statutory holiday. We do not offer 1/2 days, nor can we accommodate before/after school pickup hours.

We provide all equipment and supplies. Experience is required. Attention to detail is of extreme importance, as is your professionalism, positive attitude and desire to succeed.

Duties

- Perform detailed cleaning of floors, surfaces, kitchens, washrooms, and living areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of homes by dusting, washing, vacuuming, and mopping.
- Follow established health and safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
- Adhere to cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas are maintained to high standards of hygiene and appearance
- Use cleaning equipment efficiently while maintaining its proper functioning for optimal performance
- Perform thorough cleaning of client's homes and businesses, including dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms and kitchens, ensuring all surfaces are spotless.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or issues.
- Driving 'the team' from one location to the other within our service area.

Skills

- Proven house cleaning experience with knowledge of cleaning techniques
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning tasks efficiently
- Experience in home cleaning environments preferred
- Ability to work as a team with minimal supervision while managing time effectively
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning duties throughout the shift
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
- Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different cleaning techniques
- Must be bondable, criminal record check will be required from all applicants
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license for all drivers

Compensation Your remuneration is made up of your hourly wage, 4% vacation pay paid out bi-weekly, vehicle allowance, partial paid travel time, company incentives and tips.
