- The candidate is expected to actively engage with clients in the branch, provide an outstanding service experience, complete transactions, and identify sales and referral opportunities.
- The candidate must focus on educating clients and providing demonstrations, while using technology to deliver a strong client experience, drive solutions, and retain business.
- The candidate will be responsible for contributing to team results by listening, identifying opportunities for additional advice, introducing clients to RBC partners, or fulfilling solutions independently.
- The candidate should take a proactive approach to resolving and preventing client banking problems.
- The candidate is expected to develop and maintain strong partner relationships to work effectively as one RBC team.
- The candidate should manage risk by following compliance routines, processes, and controls to protect client and shareholder interests while completing transactions.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should have a solid focus on putting clients first and be comfortable working in a target-driven sales environment.
- The candidate must demonstrate strong drive and self-motivation, along with excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence.
- The candidate must possess digital literacy across a broad range of devices (i.e., smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.).
- The candidate must demonstrate personal flexibility to work flex hours.
- The candidate must demonstrate eagerness to learn and determination to succeed.
- The candidate must have a proven track record in building rapport and maintaining client relationships within the financial, service, or retail industry.
- The candidate must hold Mutual Funds accreditation or be willing to obtain it (i.e., Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course).
- The candidate will be required to communicate fluently in both English and French.
