Disability Credit Canada is looking for an organized, confident communicator to coordinate with medical offices, family doctors, and specialists on behalf of our clients.
Experience working in or directly with medical offices and a working knowledge of medical terminology are required.
Since 2014, we have helped thousands of Canadians with the Disability Tax Credit process. In this role, you will help keep client files moving by following up on medical forms, coordinating document requests, and maintaining clear communication with healthcare providers.
What you will do
- Contact medical offices by phone, email, and fax regarding forms, medical records, and outstanding requests.
- Follow up with receptionists, medical office administrators, physicians, and specialists.
- Explain what documentation is being requested and clarify administrative questions.
- Track outstanding items, set follow-up reminders, and maintain accurate case notes.
- Check incoming documents for administrative completeness and flag missing information to the appropriate team member.
- Keep our team informed of progress, delays, and issues requiring attention.
- Handle confidential client information carefully and follow company procedures.
What you bring
- Previous experience working in a medical office, clinic, specialist’s office, or a role involving regular coordination with medical offices.
- Familiarity with common medical terminology and medical documentation.
- Clear, professional spoken and written English for communicating with healthcare providers.
- Confidence making regular outbound calls and following up politely and persistently.
- Solid organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple outstanding requests.
- Comfort using email, electronic documents, and computer-based records.
- Availability to work the advertised part-time schedule in our office.
Assets
- Medical office administration education or training.
- Experience coordinating medical records, referrals, insurance forms, or disability documentation.
- Experience using CRM or electronic medical record systems.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
