As a Client Services Coordinator (CSC), you will serve as a trusted advocate and vital resource, empowering individuals and families navigating Parkinson disease and Atypical Parkinsonism across Alberta and the Northwest Territories. Reporting to our Client Services Supervisor and working primarily out of our Edmonton office, you will provide critical and timely access to information, psychosocial support, programs, and community connections to guide clients throughout their unique Parkinson’s journeys.

- The Aspiring Professional: A recent graduate in health, human, or social services eager to gain hands-on, meaningful experience in case coordination, group facilitation, and client advocacy.
- The Seasoned Advocate: An experienced professional looking to transition their years of wisdom, solid boundaries, and deep care into a fulfilling, community-focused role to wrap up their career.
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-Day Client Services
- Serve as primary point of contact for current, new, and potential clients.
· Provide non-therapeutic individual/family support, guidance, information, and navigation to clients
- Conduct intakes, assess needs, incorporate interventions,
and coordinate services and referrals
- Coordinate and facilitate regional and provincial programs and groups.
- Travel to regional communities for programs, presentations, and events.
- Deliver public presentations to various audiences and contribute to educational materials and organizational resources.
General Administrative Duties
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records, reports, and statistics.
- Provide technical assistance with online programs and virtual events as required.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a Health, Human, or Social Services (ie: Social Work, Health & Social Sciences, Gerontology/Health & Aging) – an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Experience working with seniors and/or persons with disabilities is highly valued.
- Deep empathy paired with the professional ability to set and maintain healthy boundaries.
- Self-motivated critical thinker with sharp attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- High technical acuity, with the ability to quickly learn new tools (incl Office 365/case management system).
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for community travel
- Possess or be willing to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check.
What We Offer
- $50,000/year, with a salary range up to $60,000 based on qualifications and depth of experience.
