Duties

- Assist in food preparation and meal assembly, ensuring dishes meet quality standards and presentation expectations
- Support cooking processes by following recipes and safety guidelines to deliver delicious, consistent offerings
- Handle food with care, adhering to proper food safety and hygiene protocols at all times
- Serve customers efficiently by preparing ingredients and assisting with food service as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies
- Follow all food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations




- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock levels

Experience

- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Hands-on kitchen experience involving food preparation and cooking techniques preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and handling procedures is essential
- Familiarity with meal preparation routines within the food industry will help you excel in this role
- Previous roles involving serving or assisting in a busy café or restaurant setting are a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
