We are seeking a Commercial Property Adjuster to join our growing team in Canada. This position offers flexible work arrangements, including remote, hybrid, or in-office options .

In this role, you will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve commercial property claims through telephone and written correspondence. You will manage claims within delegated authority while coordinating with field adjusters, legal counsel, and clients to ensure timely and accurate claim resolution.

Responsibilities

- Investigate, assess, and analyze commercial property claims.
- Determine coverage, liability, and claim value.
- Negotiate, settle, and close claims within delegated authority.
- Maintain detailed and accurate claim file documentation.
- Prepare reports and communicate recommendations to clients.
- Manage billing, timekeeping, and expense records.
- Coordinate with field adjusters, legal counsel, and other stakeholders as needed.
- Support client relationships by delivering exceptional service and claims handling expertise.

Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years of commercial property claims handling experience in an insurance or adjusting environment.
- Strong knowledge of commercial property and auto physical damage (PD) claims.
- Minimum 4 CIP courses completed with the ability to obtain an Ontario Probationary Adjuster's License.
- Progress toward obtaining a Full Independent Adjuster's License and CIP designation.
- Ability to obtain and maintain adjusting licenses across multiple Canadian jurisdictions.




- Experience conducting telephone investigations and handling first- and third-party commercial claims.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Bilingual French/English is an asset.
