About the PositionSlatchinum Development Corporation is seeking a dependable and motivated individual to oversee the day-to-day operations and upkeep of Deer Meadows Estates.This is a varied, hands-on role combining resident communication, community inspections, bylaw and rule compliance, property maintenance, and coordination of contractors and service providers.The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for many day-to-day community concerns. They will be responsible for ensuring complaints and maintenance issues are acknowledged, documented, followed up, and either resolved or properly escalated.Previous bylaw or property-management experience is not required. Training, established procedures, and administrative support will be provided.

We are primarily looking for someone who takes ownership, follows through, communicates well, and can be trusted to ensure work gets completed.Key Responsibilities

- Receive, document, and respond to resident questions, concerns, and complaints.
- Ensure reported issues are followed through to resolution or escalated to management when required.
- Conduct regular inspections of the development and common areas.
- Administer community rules and bylaw-compliance procedures, including documenting concerns, communicating with residents, issuing approved notices, and maintaining accurate records.
- Complete routine visual inspections of septic systems and related infrastructure using established checklists.
- Identify potential septic or infrastructure concerns and coordinate qualified contractors when technical inspection or repair is required.
- Maintain inspection schedules, service records, photographs, notices, and follow-up reports.




- Perform general common-area and park maintenance, including mowing, trimming, weed control, litter collection, and seasonal cleanup.
- Complete minor maintenance and repairs within the employee’s abilities and arrange outside contractors when required.
- Monitor roads, drainage, signage, landscaping, lighting, and other community infrastructure for maintenance concerns.
- Coordinate and follow up with contractors, landscapers, septic-service providers, and other suppliers.
- Maintain equipment, tools, and maintenance supplies in good working order.
- Provide regular updates to management regarding complaints, inspections, maintenance items, and unresolved concerns.
- Assist with other operational, property, and service-coordination duties during periods when development-related demands are lighter.

What We Are Looking For

- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work with limited supervision.
- Strong personal accountability and a demonstrated ability to complete tasks and follow issues through.
- Respectful and professional when dealing with residents, including during difficult conversations.
- Able to apply rules consistently while using good judgment and common sense.
- Organized and comfortable maintaining written records, photographs, schedules, and follow-up lists.
- Comfortable working both outdoors and in an office environment.




- Able to safely operate lawn-maintenance equipment and basic hand tools.
- Basic computer skills, including email, electronic forms, and Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation.
- Able to perform the physical requirements of outdoor maintenance work in varying weather conditions.

Experience in property maintenance, landscaping, construction, customer service, community operations, security, property management, or bylaw compliance would be an asset but is not required.What We Provide
