Position Title: Constella Cabins & Clubhouse Host

Position Type: Seasonal (Thursday to Sunday shifts, with overnight stays)

Reports To: Red Mountain Resort Lodging (RMRL) Director and Head Housekeeper

The Constella Cabins & Clubhouse Host plays a vital role in the weekend operations of the Constella Cabins and Clubhouse, overseeing extended shifts from Thursday through Sunday morning. This multitasking leadership position requires troubleshooting and problem-solving with a calm demeanor, while managing food and beverage service, guest experiences, cleaning standards, and coordination of staff.

Responsibilities include preparing and serving specialty beverages and meals, maintaining inventories, delegating tasks to attendants, and ensuring readiness for overnight guests, including basic security and emergency preparedness. The role demands a highly organized, motivated individual with strong leadership and communication skills to deliver exceptional customer service and enhance the RED guest experience. Overnight stays at the Constella Cabins are required (accommodation provided during shifts).

Job Location The Constella Cabins and Clubhouse are a backcountry operation located in the Paradise Basin on the backside of Granite Mountain. During winter operations, the facility is only accessible by skiing/snowboarding via the Silverlode and Motherlode chairlifts.

Job Responsibilities

- Communicate regularly with the Lodging Director, Food & Beverage Manager, and Head Housekeeper to ensure seamless day, evening, and overnight operations
- Act as the primary onsite point of contact for Constella staff, quickly resolving conflicts or issues
- Oversee and delegate tasks to ensure completion of:
- Cleaning, organizing, and sanitizing all cookware,



flatware, glassware, and cutlery in the common kitchen
- Maintaining cleanliness of all guest areas, including indoor/outdoor dining, public washrooms, and the 6 overnight cabins
- Baggage handling as needed

- Provide friendly, efficient, and professional guest service, including support for check-in/out
- Perform regular property checks for guest safety, including securing skis/snowboards nightly
- Maintain extensive inventories of housekeeping, supplies, and daily necessities
- Report all maintenance items promptly
- Be readily available to handle guest problems or complaints
- Ensure familiarity with and adherence to all Constella Emergency Procedures and Plans
- Comply with Occupational Health and Safety Guidelines
- Perform other duties as required

Job Requirements/Qualifications

- Previous Food and Beverage experience required
- Serve it Right Certificate required
- Excellent ski/snowboard ability required (advanced level necessary for daily access)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently with excellent multitasking capabilities
- Physically fit: able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions
- Service-oriented, assertive, flexible, outgoing, and enthusiastic
- Self-motivated with high energy and engaging enthusiasm
- Ability to delegate tasks respectfully and professionally
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity
- Level 1 First Aid certification
- Willing to obtain Serve it Right certifications if not currently held

Work Schedule Thursday to Sunday morning shifts, seasonal position. Requires full availability for weekends and evenings, with overnight stays at the Constella Cabins (accommodation provided during shifts). Flexible schedule to cover day-through-overnight operations.
