BAT Construction is growing and hiring dependable Construction Labourers for full-time, permanent work in Owen Sound and the surrounding area.

Starting wage: $20–$26 per hour, based on experience, skills and ability. Wage increases are available as employees demonstrate reliability, productivity and the ability to take on more responsibility. Applicants who provide their own suitable tools may qualify for a higher starting wage.

Typical hours are approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. Hours may vary depending on project requirements and location.

Types of work may include:

- Residential and commercial renovations

- Demolition and site preparation
- Framing, decks and general carpentry
- Drywall, flooring and trim

- Concrete and exterior work

- Excavation and property improvements

- General repairs and maintenance

Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction and renovation work
- Load, unload and organize tools and materials
- Safely operate hand and power tools
- Keep job sites clean, organized and safe
- Follow instructions,



measurements and project plans
- Work professionally with crew members, customers and subcontractors
- Travel to job sites throughout Owen Sound and surrounding communities

Qualifications
- Construction experience is an asset but not required for the right candidate
- Dependable, punctual and available for full-time work
- Willing to learn and take direction
- Comfortable performing physical work indoors and outdoors
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and commitment to protected work practices
