GENERAL LABOURER – CONTAINER REPAIR

Due to growth we have an immediate need to fill the above position at our Edmonton Yard Office.

RESPONSIBILITIES: *

· Various repairs on insulated and non-insulated container boxes.

· Calculate material measurements to required specifications.

· Using all required tools and equipment in a safe and professional manner.

· Inspecting equipment to determine necessary repairs.

· Accurately recording all work and parts related to completing a repair.

· Previous experience shunting would be considered an asset.

WHAT WE REQUIRE: *

· Physically fit, with the ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs on a regular basis.

· Able to work at heights.

· Able to work independently, be reliable, and self-driven.





· Flexible to do mobile repairs and other tasks on the premises as required.

· Must have basic hand and air tools

· Only selected candidates will be contacted; if selected an on-site practical will be held to gauge basic torch and welding proficiency.

Experience:

- Previous background in shop maintenance, manufacturing, or basic welding is a strong asset
