Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist with their food orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process transactions swiftly and accurately.
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and make change confidently while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, following food safety and sanitation standards.
- Upsell menu items or promotions to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness of the cashier station, dining area, and food prep zones in compliance with sanitation guidelines.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without sacrificing quality or safety.




- Follow all food handling protocols to ensure safety and quality standards are met consistently.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus; basic math skills are necessary for accurate cash handling.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to multitask efficiently during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in cashiering or cash handling roles demonstrates reliability and trustworthiness.
- Basic understanding of food preparation processes and restaurant operations is advantageous.
