Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Network Specialist for potential upcoming consulting engagements. The successful candidate will provide specialized network and security expertise, including architecture, escalated troubleshooting, implementation, incident support and technical advisory services.

Responsibilities

- Provide escalated troubleshooting for complex network and cybersecurity issues.
- Support network architecture, design, configuration and implementation.
- Support enterprise routing, switching and wireless technologies.
- Assist with network access control and secure device connectivity.
- Support firewall, perimeter security and secure-access initiatives.
- Work with third-party vendors and managed security providers to troubleshoot incidents.
- Assist with cybersecurity maturity and security improvement initiatives.
- Support incident response, recovery and business continuity activities.
- Assess existing technologies and recommend improvements.
- Support secure implementation of cloud services,



systems and emerging technologies.
- Provide technical documentation, knowledge transfer and training.

Qualifications
- 7+ years of enterprise networking, infrastructure security or cybersecurity experience.
- Robust experience with enterprise routing, switching and wireless technologies.
- Experience with technologies such as Cisco, Aruba and/or Meraki.
- Experience with enterprise Network Access Control (NAC) solutions.
- Strong firewall and network security knowledge.
- Experience working with SOC/MDR or managed security providers.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity governance, privileged access, incident handling and secure remote access.
- Experience supporting hybrid and/or cloud environments.
- Relevant networking, cloud or cybersecurity certifications are assets.

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Regina, SK
