Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

Overtime: Some statutory holiday coverage and occasional overtime may be required based on business needs

Role Overview The position will provide data services support to clients and internal business partners by managing data capture requirements for legal information associated with capital markets trading products. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing and investigating trade exceptions related to various legal agreements.

The organization works with global counterparties across trading products such as derivatives, foreign exchange, fixed income, securities lending, repurchase agreements, prime brokerage, and related credit support documentation.

Must-Have Skills

1. Data Management Experience – 3+ years of relevant experience managing, validating, maintaining, and analyzing data.
2. Advanced Excel & Technical Skills – Strong Microsoft Excel skills and overall technical proficiency.
3. Capital Markets / Trading Knowledge – Understanding of trading businesses, operating environments, business processes, procedures, and transaction lifecycles.
4. Exception & Workflow Management – Experience investigating data discrepancies, managing exceptions, resolving issues, and working within defined service levels.

Strong Attention to Detail – Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage tight deadlines and high-volume workloads.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage accurate and timely capture of legal terms and documentation to support operationalization of legal agreements.
- Review legal agreements and translate relevant terms into appropriate systems.
- Analyze and manage data exceptions and trade-related queries.
- Investigate data issues and coordinate resolution with upstream and downstream stakeholders.
- Maintain data tables related to netting status and product coverage.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across business, technology, risk,



and trading functions.
- Support operational readiness activities and cutover planning for initiatives approaching implementation.
- Provide timely and accurate responses to business inquiries and escalate issues when required.
- Ensure accurate data processing to mitigate operational, financial, regulatory, and reputational risk.
- Work within established service-level agreements and quality standards.
- Assist with workflow management and prioritization of team requests.
- Support knowledge sharing and provide training to team members on best practices.
- Maintain and update procedural documentation.
- Produce management reports and maintain key performance metrics.
- Assist with data gathering for internal audits and other control functions.

Qualifications

- University or College degree/post-secondary education
- 3+ years of relevant data management experience
- Strong Microsoft Office knowledge with advanced Excel skills
- Understanding of capital markets trading environments and transaction lifecycles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities
