Little Scientists Preschool is a licensed, STEM-focused preschool in Sage Hill, NW Calgary, serving children ages 3–6. We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic Level 3 Early Childhood Educator to lead a preschool classroom and create engaging, play-based learning experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead a safe, nurturing and engaging preschool classroom
- Plan play-based activities with a focus on STEM and exploration
- Support and document children’s development
- Communicate with families and work collaboratively with our team
- Maintain a clean, organized and inclusive learning environment
- Guide classroom assistants and practicum students
Requirements
- Alberta ECE Level 3 certification
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Recent Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
- Experience working with preschool-aged children
- Strong communication, organization and classroom-management skills
- A genuine passion for helping young children learn and grow
