We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver and Warehouse Worker to join our team. This position involves handling various warehouse operations, including Drving, Deliveries, Pick ups, shipping, receiving, and maintaining a safe and organized environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse settings and possess solid communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and customers.
This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in logistics, forklift operation, and commercial driving within a dynamic work environment.
Duties
- Moving and organizing inventory within the warehouse using manual handling techniques and equipment
- Assisting with shipping and receiving processes, including preparing shipments and verifying deliveries
- Verify products against packing slips and purchase orders
- Sort and place products in designated storage areas according to warehouse layout
- Providing excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and ensuring timely order fulfillment
- Use the most efficient route to help avoid any delays in delivery.
- Manageing multiple pickups and drop offs in single trip.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records through data entry and stock counts
- Ensuring the warehouse remains clean, safe,
and compliant with safety regulations
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.
- Communicating effectively with team members to coordinate daily tasks and resolve issues promptly
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse and premises.
Requirements
- Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for specific equipment such as forklifts.
- Minimum 1 Year Driving experience with clean record.
- Valid NS Driving License with Clean Abstract.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds or more)
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interactions
- Experience with moving items efficiently within a warehouse setting
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail
- Reliable transportation to commute to the warehouse location
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
