- Deal with customers in a professional manner
- Drop off gas cylinders to customers and bring back empties
- Load and unload truck before setting out on delivery
- Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle
- MUST be able to read and write English
- Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; Lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders (rolling, using a cart, etc.)
- Use company vehicle to deliver products and equipment to customers in a safe and courteous manner.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Transport cylinders to assigned customers in a timely and safety conscious manner. Stay within all posted speed limits and comply with all Transport Canada and company safety policies and procedures.
- Verify product and accuracy with customers at locations
- Loading and unloading your vehicle daily
- Moves, loads, and unloads empty/full cylinders safely and efficiently
- Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle. Maintains the vehicle in a clean and proper condition and fully fueled
- Reporting any issues with vehicle or delivery issues
- Report accidents including near misses, unsafe acts or conditions and obeys safety rules.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS





- Must have a valid FULL G driving license.
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have previous commercial driving experience.
- Minimum of one year road experience preferred with no previous driving violations for three years.
- Must be at least 25 years of age with an excellent driving record.
- Must be able to push cart 200 + lb. cylinders and bend/lift 50+lb containers.
- Must have the ability to read and write English language. Perform simple mathematical calculations. Must have ability to handle receipts; read maps, road signs, maintain record of duty status, etc.
- Ability to perform basic administrative functions and problem solving.
- Must be adaptable with work hours.
- Capable of working in diverse weather and working conditions.
- The selected candidate will have to take and pass a TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods) certificate exam prior to starting.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 70.0 – 90.0 per week
