RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide excellent customer service through the delivery, pickup, care, and service of furniture, mattresses, appliances
- Move heavy home furnishings on a daily basis with extreme care
- Demonstrate professionalism, confidence, and a positive attitude while working in our customers’ homes
- Accountable for commitment to our company’s safety procedures and guidelines
- Adhere to traffic and transportation laws
- Maintain and clean the delivery truck
- Organize and manage time independently
- Perform additional functions that may be assigned at the discretion of management - warehouse organization, assembly, store tidy-up, etc
YOU WILL BRING:
- Previous moving experience (preferred but not mandatory)
- Valid work permit for non-residents
- Valid driver’s license is mandatory.
- Thorough understanding of geographic locations and ability to read a map
- Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy furniture
- Knowledge and experience with furniture assembly an asset, but not mandatory
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and within a team workplace
Physical Demands: Lifting is a strenuous and physically demanding position.** We offer competitive wages, and the successful candidate must have a Customer-first approach.
Ability to work Saturdays is a must. Starting wage is $20-$22 per hour based on experience.
