Duties

- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments using approved methods and equipment
- Prepare sterilization packs and ensure proper labeling for easy identification
- Monitor sterilization cycles to confirm all procedures meet safety standards and manufacturer instructions
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes, including logs and quality assurance documentation
- Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying staff of low stock levels
- Follow strict infection control protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure patient safety
- Collaborate with dental team members to ensure all instruments are available and ready for procedures





Qualifications

- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dental procedures and infection control practices
- Prior experience in a dental or medical sterilization setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to strict sterilization procedures
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within a healthcare environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
