We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Denturist for part-time work on commission. This position has the possibility for future, full time employment in a growing denturist practice.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate dentures and other removable appliances in the laboratory, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship
- Fit, adjust, and modify prostheses for comfort, function, and aesthetics during patient appointments
- Maintain detailed records of patient treatments, impressions, and laboratory procedures
- Ensure all work complies with health regulations and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with patients about prosthesis care and maintenance to promote long-term oral health
Qualifications
- Valid licensure or certification as a Denturist in the relevant jurisdiction
- Proven experience working in a denturist office
- Robust knowledge of medical terminology related to oral health and prosthetic procedures
- Laboratory experience in fabricating or repairing dental appliances is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly and compassionately to patients
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
