Join Genetec's Cloud Security and Identity (CSI) team.

We are looking for a seasoned developer with a strong security mindset to help evolve our internal security platform.

The Cloud Security and Identity team builds and operates internal security platforms that:

- manage credentials for employees and services
- collect, analyze, and act on security events at scale

Our mission is to raise the security bar across the organization through reliable, observable, and well-engineered systems.

Your day at a glance

You will work on a multi-stack codebase with strong engineering discipline and a security-first mindset. Your responsibilities include:
- Designing and building event-driven security detections and platform capabilities
- Working closely with security and engineering stakeholders to identify relevant signals, enrichments, and decision points
- Operating and improving production systems with a focus on observability, performance, reliability, and cost awareness
- Owning end-to-end delivery practices, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
- Contributing to the long-term evolution of the platform architecture and engineering standards

What makes you a great fit

- 5+ years of experience building and operating production software
- Strong software engineering fundamentals: clean design, maintainable code, and testability
- Comfortable working across multiple layers of a system, from code to cloud infrastructure
- Solid security culture: threat-aware design, least privilege, safe defaults, and practical cryptography
- Fluent in French and English,



both verbal and written (this role requires interaction with our international collaborators and customers)

Your technical expertise

- Experience operating cloud-based systems (Azure preferred but not required)
- Solid DevOps and automation mindset (CI/CD, containers, infrastructure-as-code)
- Hands-on experience running production systems: logs, metrics, incidents, failure modes, and iterative hardening

An asset if you have

- Experience with event streaming, messaging, or data pipeline architectures
- Familiarity with identity standards and protocols: SSH, OIDC, OAuth, PKI, SAML
- Exposure to security telemetry, detection logic, or anomaly-based systems
