About the Role

Veridian Tech Solutions is hiring a Senior Digital Architect for a long-term public sector digital transformation project based in Edmonton, Alberta. This role will lead enterprise architecture, cloud modernization, application strategy, and digital transformation initiatives across a large-scale Applications, Data & AI portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead enterprise and solution architecture across business, application, data, security, integration, and technology domains.
- Design current-state and target-state architecture roadmaps and reusable architectural standards.
- Architect and support Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO) platform solutions and cloud environments.
- Provide technical leadership to Agile development teams, vendors, and application support teams.
- Drive DevOps, CI/CD, automation, integration, and environment management best practices.
- Participate in Architecture Review Board (ARB), governance reviews, and technical decision-making.
- Support data integration, analytics, AI initiatives,



and application modernization projects.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- TOGAF Certification (Mandatory).
- 8+ years of enterprise/solution architecture experience.
- 5+ years of experience with Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO) .
- 7+ years of experience designing and documenting enterprise application architectures.
- Solid experience with Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile delivery.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and technical leadership skills.

Preferred Experience
- Public sector or large enterprise IT environment experience.
- Architecture governance and ARB participation.
- Master Data Management (MDM).
- OWASP Top 10 security practices.
- Mobile application and data/AI architecture experience.
